Endorphin Highs

The weather here in the UK feels us with hope.  The weather has been mainly grey in 2007 from the summer to now in 2008.  So one hopes the weather will turn sunny at some point.  When there is a break in the cloud, I am filled with excitement, wonderment and awe and hope there will be more of the same.

Also have been craving runs! I used to find running longer than 5 miles boring, now I want to run longer to the point that if I have an injury I have to talk to others so that they tell me NOT to run.

January

This winter has been warm (amazing for me to say this) but this might be due to all the winter running I have been doing.  First running 20 miles a week, stepped up to 60 miles a week then stepped down to 50, then 40, 30 and now to make it a lazy week ahead as I get the body ready for the 40 mile marathon on Saturday 2nd Feb.

February

2nd Feb: 40 mile marathon

10th Feb: 1/2 marathon

17th Feb: 18 mile fun run with friends

24th Feb: 20 mile fun run with friends

....and of course 5 mile runs in between

March

2nd Mar: 1/2 marathon

.....and then training to put on weight.......
